Located right in the middle of downtown, the Georgia Aquarium is the largest aquarium in the world. The aquarium is home to over 100,000 different sea creatures, including two whale sharks. The Atlanta Botanical garden is a beautiful escape from the busy city. It includes 30-acres of beautiful and rare garden scenery. Their unique displays are something you will not want to miss. On Thursdays from May through October, the garden offers cocktails to enjoy during your visit. They offer occasional concerts as well as the option to rent for events or weddings. They offer classes and lectures if you are interested in learning more about their conservation and research. The Centennial Olympic Park is located just across the street from the Georgia Aquarium and the World of Coca-Cola. It was originally built for the 1996 Summer Olympics that were held in Atlanta.
